This is my 2nd pannier backpack from two wheel gear. The first lasted me almost 6 years through near daily commutes and longer rides including bike touring trips. I also use it as a my main work backpack on days I don’t commute on my bike. I only had to replace my first (old) bag because the bag sustained some damage due to user error and daily stress.

I thought my first one was amazing but the updated design is lighter and even more secure. I especially like the updated mounting system and locks. It’s clear the team has continued to refine and upgrade what was already a tough and secure bag. Worth every penny especially for commuters and travelers!

I upgraded from an original smaller size convertible backpack. This larger one is so much more roomy, fabric is soft and supple which makes it much easier for the zips to go around the curves. My only comment is that if I were to wear this backpack for hours the bike attachment clips would start to irritate my back. Could just be my geometry with the backpack though. Overall a great product!

After a bit of use, I think I really like this bag. I use it for work on a daily basis. Is it the most comfortable backpack? No, the bike mount ensures that true comfort will never be achieved, but I only walk 1/4 to 1/2 a mile, so not really enough carry distance to matter. I really like strapping it into my bike and then converting to backpack for the walk into work. it’s not a long distance, but it is long enough than anything besides a backpack can be a real hassle. As person who uses the sternum strap all the time, this is my only real complaint with this backpack, as the sternum strap continuously slides out of position while in use (I would like for the sternum strap to stay close to my sternum, but it always rides up, even on short walks).
I typically carry a lunchbox, coffee mug, water bottle, umbrella, other odds and ends, and a change of clothes, and this backpack works very nicely for that. Overall, I’m very pleased with the way this backpack functions, and I hope that small tweaks can be made in the future to make it even better

Absolutely brilliant bag

As a long time commuter by bike, this is hands down the best pannier I have ever had. I needed to upgrade as my old pannier would not fit on my new bike rack, and I am stunned by how much better this design is. Readily accessible pockets, clever storage so that you can quickly and easily find what you need, and terrific capacity. It sits securely on the rack and is easily to mount and remove. I strongly recommend this bag.
