I really, really, really like this bag. Not as a pannier, not as a backpack, not as a messenger bag, but as all three. Many times when a product is a 3-in-1, it is a Jack of all Trades, Master of None. For me, this is definitely a master of two. The only reason I can’t say three is that I’ve only used it as a backpack twice.

I’ll start with it as a messenger bag. Hands down, the most useful, thought-out bag I own. If I got rid of my bike today, I would keep this bag as my messenger bag. Plenty of room, useful dividers and pockets, and while the pannier and backpack parts take up space, they don't interfere with the messenger bag function. It is well designed and well made.

As a pannier, it performs equally well. The attachment mechanism is one of my favorites. I like the angle (less heel strike). When properly attached, it is not coming off. If it does, I am going to bet there is an ambulance involved. In fact, I was upset to learn that you can buy the KLICKfix - Kompakt Rail - Mounting Set separately, because I had just refurbished my original grocery panniers with another product. I would have preferred to spend a bit more for a superior attachment system. The lower attachment strap isn’t my favorite, but that has more to do with my rack/bike than the bag.

I’ve only used it as a backpack twice, but it has functioned extremely well both times. All compartments have zippers, so reorienting from horizontal to vertical isn’t a problem with what I carry. YMMV depending on your contents.

I use this year-round and in all weather. I have never felt the need to use the rain cover. Water has never gotten into my bag without it.

I recommend this bag to everyone I know, bike rider or not. Even if you never use it as a pannier, please consider it for your next messenger bag.

I constantly get compliments on it. I have used it daily for 2 years, and it has been solid the entire time.

I just bought this bag from my local retailer, and it seems like it's going to suite my needs perfectly, my only complaint is the flap is secured by two magnetic attachments, and they're very finicky and don't stay secured very well. I did alot of resarch on the best Pannier for my commute and this was the only one that had all the features, minus this one part. I'm hoping it's not an every day annoyance, but i'll have to see as i start biking into work next week.

This bag is perfect for those who are looking for a business-like pannier bag that can be used for commuting. It is well thought out and the quality is good. From now on, I will try to see how strong the rain can withstand. I'm going to use it carefully.
