Pannier Backpack Convertible 2.0 PLUS (30 L)

I originally bought the smaller version of this bag and used it for two years with near-complete satisfaction. It was super functional for my commute and workday, amazing for all weather, easy to use the pannier mechanism, and very comfortable on my back.

Some holes sprouted up in the interior and exterior mesh fabric so I contacted TwoWheelGear customer service to inquire about exercising the product warranty. They were extremely receptive and even let me upgrade to the larger version of the bag by paying the difference in price! The new version of the bag seems even better than the previous version!

My only suggestions for the bag would be to construct the interior pockets out of something other than mesh to allow them not to develop holes as easily, and perhaps add more exterior pockets to allow for easier access to more things. Maybe a bottom pocket to easily store rain gear and/or the bag cover?

So far, the bag feels very sturdy and holds up well. The attachment mechanism seems secure. Overall a game changer for my commute and I would recommend this to anyone.

I worry slightly that folding the back panel over and over again will mean it will have wear and tear over time. The side pouches are a bit too small for a water bottle.

I've been using this bag for two weeks for commuting at the time of writing. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, but there are some improvements that could be made:

Pros:
-Sturdy, tough fabric
-Dedicated laptop pocket
-Convertible between backpack and pannier
-TONS of space

Cons:
-No separate pocket for shoes
-No lanyard / clip for keys inside the bag
-Conversion is easy, but not doable on the fly (e.g., to quickly get through a turnstyle or onto a train).

I have been loving my packback for a week now running it on my daily commute. I can confirm the rain cover works well too

The product fulfills its main advertised function; that is, turning easily from a backpack into a bike pannier. However, that is the limit of its convenience. As a backpack, it is rather unstable and never stands straight. It is difficult to keep it open as it deforms readily and always falls on one side. As a pannier, it holds steady to the bike rack, but it also gathers a lot of dust and dirt. The waterproof cover included is worst, though, it barely covers the right spots and has an extra-long elastic band that gets jammed in the gears and quickly becomes a hazard. I feel the design of this product is GOOD enough and that's it. For the price, unfortunately, I was not impressed.
